#10 Envelope Design - Hero Prop
This design was done as part of a workshop for film and tv. The workshop’s purpose was to teach how to design graphics for film and tv (including how to make the props with the graphics applied)
Objective: Design a #10 Envelope with a canceled stamp using the following sender and receiver information.
From: Jack Oswald White
To: Bruce Wayne

Stamp Design
As the Joker is known for his clown motifs an imagery, I went about designing the stamp with that in mind. These are two versions of the stamp I came up with along with accompanying postal marks. For the postal marks, I made sure to invoke a look that would fit in with Gotham City’s overall gothic aesthetic.
Front of Envelope
For the front of the envelope, I added some blood splatter to further emphasize Joker being the sender.
Back of Envelope
Opened Envelope
For the back of the envelope, I designed it so that the eyes are on the top flap. This gives the opened version a Cheshire cat-like visual with just the smiling mouth shown when opened. This was done to further add to the creep factor and unsettling nature of the envelope.
